A Presentation on AA and Al-Anon for Professionals

As an Al-Anon PO initiative, we would like to make more professionals aware of our program and the family disease of Alcoholism by asking group members to share this flyer with any professional they feel comes in contact with the family disease of Alcoholism.
The service manual page 119 states that “Al-Anon must continue to grow if it is going to fulfill its primary purpose of reaching millions who need Al-Anon’s help but who are not yet aware of the existence of our fellowship”. Most people know about AA but far fewer know about Al-Anon.
This education session allows Al-Anon to fulfill its primary purpose while also cooperating with AA to educate professionals about this family disease. While the main focus of this event is about the disease of Alcoholism and the AA program, an Al-Anon member also speaks about the Al-Anon/Alateen programs.
