Public Outreach and Events share Al-Anon Family Groups with the community—connecting individuals and families affected by someone else’s drinking to hope, support, and recovery through education, awareness, local engagement, and an open invitation to join us.

Telephone Answering Service (TAS)
District 8’s TAS provides a confidential, compassionate first point of contact where callers can receive information, support, and connections to local meetings. It is staffed by trained volunteers who share from their own experience, ensuring that every caller is met with understanding, respect, and hope.

Al-Anon Day
Al-Anon Day is a special gathering where members and newcomers come together to share experience, strength, and hope through speakers, workshops, and fellowship. It offers a welcoming space to learn more about the program, connect with others, and find support for living with the effects of someone else’s drinking.
